1. Do you offer vegetarian dishes?

Many Thai dishes are vegetarian. P’Nut offers vegetarian options for those who don’t eat meat, seafood or poultry. You can enjoy dishes with fresh vegetables or tofu instead. Teriyaki Noodles and Penang Satay Noodles, Korean Noodles, Singapore Street Noodles and Mongolian Stir Fry are all perfect for vegetarians who prefer to avoid oyster sauce, fish sauce or shrimp paste.

2. Do you have vegan options?

Many Thai dishes can be made into vegan dishes, and you can opt to have vegetables or tofu as the star of your dish. Most sauces may contain fish or shrimp products, but our Teriyaki sauce is 100% vegan. You can also opt to have rice based noodles instead of eggs.

We are working on bringing you more vegan options, just like our new spring rolls, which are 100% vegan! Please enquire with your local restaurant to see what other vegans dishes we have!

3. Do you have gluten free options?

At P’Nut we have many gluten-free options. You can pick from the Pad Thai, Laksa Soup, Satay Salad, Tofu Puffs with Satay Sauce, Buddha’s Harvest Vegetables with Satay Sauce or Satay Vermicelli Noodles.
Our Penang Satay Noodles are also gluten-free when made with rice-based noodles or Jasmine Rice. Customers with severe allergies or celiac disease can request steamed vegetables with rice as our kitchens contains gluten products  and therefore cannot guarantee no traces of gluten.

4. Do you use MSG in your food?

Others may, but at P’Nut there is no added MSG. We believe in letting the ingredients sing their taste and authenticity.

5. Where do your dishes originate from?

P’Nut learned to cook along his grandmother at her hawker food stall in Bangkok, but Thai food is influenced by the regions around Thailand. We bring you a diverse selection of authentic street food from eight different regions across Asia. Our main focus is on flavours from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore, but we also dabble with some Japanese and Korean cooking, while keeping it authentic!

6. Do you delivery?

We offer delivery in some areas, and also offer delivery through third party services including UberEats, Menulog and Deliveroo. Please enquire with your local restaurant to see if we offer delivery in your area.

In response to COVID-19, P’Nut Street Noodles remains open 7 days a week for takeaway and home delivery, so we can continue to provide your Asian soul food fix and comfort you with tasty meals!

An initiative we’ve introduced is contactless pick up, where guests can call and place and order, or order online and select the ‘contact-less pickup’ option. Our chefs prepare your meal as usual and when you’re ready to pick up, call us from your car and a P’Nut staff member delivers your order to your car – minimal effort and no contact!

We’ve also launched P’Nut Home Delivery at Rouse Hill, Norwest, Bulimba, Windsor and Dee Why, supporting local jobs and providing a convenient delivery service for locals. Areas covered include:

7. Are your restaurants licensed?

Yes, nearly all of our restaurants are licensed. We believe that drinking a cold Tiger or Singha beer is part of the authentic Southeast Asian street food experience that people come to us for. Please enquire with your local restaurant beforehand to be sure that it is licensed.

8. Can I bring my own alcohol?

Yes, but wine only. We take great pride in supplying the best cold beers from regions across Asia. Our diners can look forward to sampling Asahi (Japan) or Tiger (Singapore) or Singha (Thailand) for instance.

9. Are children welcome?

Absolutely! We are a family friendly restaurant and even offer a Little Woks (kids) menu to cater to the tiny tastebuds. All our Little Woks meals come with a free drink, so bring your little ones and get them their own bowl of noodles to slurp on!

10. Do you cater?

We most certainly do! We offer different catering options depending on what you are after. We can spice up your next board meeting, office function, party or event.  We offer noodle box packages, party platters, or you can have us bring the live action theatrics of the wok to you and your guests. Please see our Catering page for further details on how we can elevate your next event!

11. How long will it take for my food to arrive?

We work hard to get your order to you as quickly as possible. This can take less than 5 minutes if you’re visiting us in store, but delivery times may vary during peak periods. Our noodles are cooked fresh to order, using only the highest ingredients and waiting times can reflect this.

12. How do I order food via the world wide web?

You can order some delicious food through our direct website by clicking on the Order Now button from the top menu bar or from our homepage. You can add anything extra or remove any ingredient to your taste and personal preference. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact your local restaurant.

13. Are there franchise opportunities?

We aren’t currently franchising but have received several interests in franchising and development opportunities. If you are passionate about noodles and interested in opening your own P’Nut, please contact us via Franchise form. We will be in touch once we begin franchising.

16. Is the meat you serve halal?

At P’Nut, all our meat is certified halal. If you have specific questions regarding this, please contact your local restaurant.

17. Is your beef grass-fed?

We are proud to say that all our beef is lean and grass-fed. We do this because it is kinder to animals and our planet and healthier for you.

18. Are your eggs free-range?

Yes, all the eggs we use in our recipes are free-range, because it is kinder to the animals, and healthier for you.
