Three plates of thai food on a table

Romance is in the air this month with Valentine’s Day falling on Friday, 14 February. To celebrate, we’ve compiled some date night ideas to sweep your special someone off their feet any day of the week! Of course, P’Nut Street Noodles is top of the list as the ideal Valentine’s Day date venue, and we’ll tell you why…

A Night Out For The Senses

While it might be unrealistic to whisk your date away to Thailand or Indonesia for an exotic night out, a way to treat your date to the authentic flavours, smells and sounds of a Southeast Asian street stall is to take them to P’Nut Street Noodles for dinner.

With seven Asian restaurants in Sydney, three in Brisbane and one on The Sunshine Coast, P’Nut serves up tasty Asian fusion dishes using time-honoured recipes. Here you’ll experience the real flavours, smells and sounds of Southeast Asia, with our chefs hard at work behind the wok, cooking up fragrant herbs and spices.

Start with some satisfying snacks such as the Spicy Chicken Dumplings, Juicy Prawn Dumplings or crunchy Vegetable Spring Rolls to tantalise your taste buds, and follow them up with an expertly-cooked noodles dish, stir fry or salad. PNut’s signature Pad Thai sauce is simmered for hours to build the most incredible sweet and sour flavour.

Something For Everyone

The P’Nut Street Noodles menu caters to a range of dietary needs and preferences, so there won’t be an awkward moment on the night where your date can’t eat their meal.

Each dish on the menu is clearly marked with letters to signify that they are suitable for certain dietary preferences. E means a dish contains egg, GF means gluten-free, NF is nut-free, VG for vegetarian and V for vegan. The number of chilli icons signify how spicy the dish is, making it easy to have a fuss-free dinner for two!

Food & Drink Pairings

What better way to wash down a flavoursome bowl of noodles than with a cold beer or wine?

P’Nut offers a range of beers, wines and even cocktails to pair perfectly with a romantic dinner. Beers include: Asahi, Tiger, Singha, Stone & Wood Pacific Ale, Little Creatures Pale Ale and Heieken. Wines include: Sauvignon Blanc Semillon. Cocktails and mocktails include Pineapple Coconut Crushie or Lychee & Cucumber Coconut Crushie.

Cheers to that!

P’Nut Picnic

If weather permits, dining outdoors on a picnic blanket is one of the great simple pleasures of life. A delicious dinner and glass of wine shared with your beloved is a perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

P’Nut takeaway comes in easy to transport noodle boxes – you can even pull the noodle boxes edges down to form a plate. Saves you packing plates and saves washing up!
